Frequently Asked Questions
Where will this program take place?

Growing Outdoors is excited to be running this program at the site of the Gateway Church (formally Gateway Ranch) on Agoura Rd., between Kanan and Reyes Adobe.

Will lunch be provided?

All food should be packed at home and brought to Growing Outdoors in the morning. We have a large refrigerator to keep all the lunches cool, even if it is hot outside.

Do I have to register for all 4 days

Yes! Our program is designed to build each day! For this reason we will not be taking registrations for single days.

Why only 4 days? Can't you go for another week or two?

While we’ve been offering after-school enrichment programming at OPUSD for more than 10 years now, this is our first venture into full day programming. We are excited to share this with Oak Park families and hope to expand it in future years.

What do I do if my child has to miss an day?

Please call us as early as possible (before 8am) at (818) 889-8383. The Growing Outdoors adminstrative staff will be creating daily attendance sheets for each group, so it would be helpful to have that information as early as possible. If a child that is expected does not get dropped off, we will call you to confirm their safety.

Why does registration close before the first day?

Growing Outdoors wants to provide the best possible program. Therefore, we need time to train and prepare our staff, in addition to reviewing each child’s health form, prior to the first day of the program.

Why are the specialties priced differently?

The tuition for our program is a flat $340 for all four days! However, we do have a supplies fee of $50 for our Woodworking class, since that program has much more costly materials.

Is Camp GO! registration considered by the current grade, or next year's grade?

Please enter the grade level your student is CURRENTLY in for the 25-26 school year.
